Margot van Huijkelom

In 2013 Escada commissioned her for their fragrance and worldwide campaign “Cherry in the Air.” Margot’s strong ties to Japan began more than 15 years ago with a commission that snowballed into a multitude of clients and editorial work. (Vogue Japon, L’Officiel Japon) It’s in Tokyo where Margot was introduced to a discipline that became a strong source of inspiration for her work—the art of woodblock printing (Ukiyo-e) with it’s delicate work of fine lines on handmade paper.
