Share
In the fast-shifting landscape of contemporary fashion, Rachel McCulloch has carved out a space defined by sharp instinct, creative fluency, and a distinctly modern aesthetic. With over a decade of experience across design, consultancy, and illustration, she moves fluidly between disciplines—part strategist, part artist, fully immersed in the culture of fashion.

Rachel’s work as a Fashion Consultant is marked by a kind of effortless precision. She curates collections with a clear narrative pulse, blending fresh design concepts into bold, commercially attuned ranges that land with impact. There’s a confidence to her approach: modern silhouettes, striking details, and an ability to sense exactly what will resonate. Her leadership shows in the way she builds collections that feel both directional and deeply wearable—a balance that many aim for but few capture with such clarity.
"I applied to the fida awards as ive been hoping to get a little more exposure for my work, and the fida community is a very tuned in community." says Rachel

Her technical prowess runs deep. Rachel brings meticulous craftsmanship to the table, shaped through years of hands-on work with brands including Sweaty Betty, Urban Outfitters, Topshop Boutique, and Gap. Whether she’s refining construction, mapping out intricate detailing, or shaping the tone of a new collection, her eye is exacting. It’s this mix of creativity and precision that anchors her design practice.
"I am a fashion designer and have worked in the industry in london for over a decade but fashion illustration is my first love! I selected some recent pieces of mine that most encapsulated fashion in 2025 to me." says Rachel

As a Fashion and Beauty Illustrator, Rachel shifts into another expressive gear. Her illustrations are emotive yet clean, modern yet full of character—images that translate style into attitude. This visual voice has attracted an impressive list of collaborators, from luxury houses to cultural tastemakers. Her client roster includes Alexander McQueen, Tove, Rejina Pyo, Rixo, Soho House, Alexis Foreman, Rita Ora, French Connection, Urban Outfitters, and many more.
"I compose my images from scratch using a variety of different source imagery, which i then piece together to create a new image. I then illustrate this new image digitally using my ipad." says Rachel

What sets Rachel apart is her ability to move seamlessly between concept and execution, art and strategy, image and idea. She doesn’t just create for the fashion world—she shapes it, with work that feels current, considered, and distinctly her own.
