As part of the FIDA Illustrating Fashion project, artists were invited to interpret the spirit of Kenzo through their own unique illustration styles, resulting in a vibrant and diverse body of work that celebrated both the brand’s heritage and the versatility of contemporary fashion illustration.

The project produced an exciting range of creative outcomes, with artists exploring a wide variety of traditional and digital techniques. From beautifully rendered coloured pencil illustrations to innovative collage and paper art featuring stunning interpretations of Kenzo’s iconic prints and patterns, each piece captured a different aspect of the brand’s unmistakable identity.
Flowing watercolour works brought softness, movement, and fluidity to the collection, while striking bright digital illustrations embraced the bold energy and contemporary edge that Kenzo is so well known for. Large-scale paintings in muted tones offered a more refined yet equally impactful interpretation, showcasing the incredible diversity of creative responses inspired by the brand.
