International Fashion Illustration Week (IFIW) is back for 2026, and we are searching for 100 outstanding fashion illustrators from around the world to be part of one of the biggest global celebrations of fashion illustration.
This is more than a competition. It’s an opportunity to showcase your work to a worldwide audience of creatives, brands, industry professionals and fashion illustration enthusiasts.
Whether your work is digital, traditional, editorial, conceptual or experimental, IFIW celebrates artists who bring fashion to life through creativity and originality.
Every Artist Gets Featured
Unlike traditional competitions where only winners receive exposure, every artist who submits work to IFIW 2026 will be included on our dedicated IFIW platform.
Your artwork will be showcased alongside your website and/or social media links, creating visibility and giving audiences, brands and potential clients the opportunity to discover your work.
Every artist featured on the platform will also automatically become part of our brand new People's Vote, allowing the public to explore the work and vote for their favourite artist.
This means that every submission becomes part of the global IFIW experience.
Brand New for 2026 – The People’s Vote
For the first time ever, the public will have the opportunity to discover and vote for their favourite artists through a dedicated online IFIW gallery.
The People’s Vote Winner will receive a FREE 1-Year FIDA Project Membership.
The IFIW Top 100
From all submissions, 100 artists will be selected as the IFIW Top 100 Fashion Illustrators of 2026.
In addition to being featured on the IFIW platform, Top 100 artists will receive further recognition through:
- Inclusion in the IFIW Top 100 Gallery Showcase
- Promotion across FIDA platforms
- Visibility to industry professionals and a worldwide audience
- Continued showcase exposure throughout the rest of 2026
As an additional opportunity, one artwork from the Top 100 will also be selected by FIDA to be featured during London Fashion Week – September 2026.
Who Can Apply?
IFIW 2026 is open to fashion illustrators worldwide at every stage of their creative journey.
We welcome:
- Traditional fashion illustration
- Digital illustration
- Mixed media
- Editorial artwork
- Runway-inspired work
- Experimental and conceptual fashion art
From emerging talent to established artists, everyone is welcome.
What you can submit
The brief for IFIW 2026 is simple: submit your own fashion illustration work – published or unpublished.
This can include:
- Fashion portraits or full figures
- Cool hunting and street style
- Catwalk and runway illustrations
- Red carpet events
- Still life
- Live event illustration
- Editorial and magazine covers
- Advertising campaigns
- Archive work
- Fashion or cosmetic product illustrations
Important Information
IFIW celebrates original artistic talent.
AI-generated artwork will not be accepted. Artists may be asked to provide proof of the creative process, including:
- Work-in-progress images
- Time-lapse videos
- Multiple stages of artwork development
