Bal Harbour Shops & FIDA Worldwide Unite for the 6th Annual Creative Challenge
Share
In celebration of Bal Harbour Shops’ 60th Anniversary, the renowned luxury destination is calling on illustrators across the globe to bring six decades of fashion, art, and elegance to life. This year’s Creative Challenge—running from September 13 through October 10, 2025—invites artists to create original illustrations that capture the spirit of Bal Harbour Shops from the 1960s to today.
For this milestone year, Bal Harbour Shops introduces a new creative partnership with FIDA Worldwide, the international fashion-illustration platform founded by acclaimed artist Patrick Morgan. Morgan will lead a distinguished panel of guest judges drawn from the worlds of fashion, art, and design, offering entrants an unparalleled opportunity for industry recognition.
The Competition
Artists are encouraged to interpret Bal Harbour Shops’ legacy in their own style: whether channeling the elegance of the 1960s, the bold glamour of the 1980s, the eclectic energy of the early 2000s, or the trend-blending present day. One high-resolution JPEG entry must be submitted by October 10 at 11:59 p.m. EST, and shared on Instagram with the hashtag #BHSCreative60.
Awards & Exposure
- Grand Prize: $3,500 cash award, publication in the Winter 2025 issue of Bal Harbour Magazine, a commissioned editorial illustration project, and a feature across Bal Harbour Shops’ digital channels.
- Finalists (up to three): $750 each and prominent exposure on balharbourshops.com, social media, and in a dedicated artist roundup.
