Fida in Paris Poster Exhibition Prize 2023 - designer Emmanuel Ungaro

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary “Battle of Versailles” fashion show with the Fida in Paris Poster Exhibition 2023. 

The Battle of Versailles Fashion Show was a historic fashion show held on November 28, 1973, in the Palace of Versailles to raise money for its restoration. Created by Eleanor Lambert and Versailles curator Gerald Van der Kemp, the show pitted French designers against American designers.

This is your opportunity to illustrate Emmanuel Ungaro's work, as part of the Fida poster prize in Paris - which will showcase the beauty and artistry of fashion through a live exhibition in Paris, like no other.

Brief: 

To illustrate and design a poster celebrating the designer Emmanuel Ungaro. Looking at both past and current collections which encapsulate the brand . 

Format A3 both Landscape and portrait. 

10 artists from the Fida in Paris Poster Exhibition 2023 project will be invited to show in Paris during a Live fashion exhibition and party - printing and/or delivery and return costs are the responsibility of the artist. The selected works will be shown online via a virtual exhibition (usually £175 each for group show) and featured in the Fashion illustration book The Fible 4 (usually £700) for free.
