FIDA 10TH AWARDS
Excellence in Moving Image, Animation & Shorts Award
This award is suitable for: all levels of creatives, including illustrators, artists, animators, 3D designers, content creators, live event artists, calligraphers, engravers, customisers, and creatives using Adobe illustrator/photoshop, Blender, Clo, Maya, Unreal Engine, etc.
Examples of what types of work can be submitted: short form videos, animations, commercials, film/tv credits, advertisements, web promotion, product launches, instructional videos, music videos, social media campaigns.
Send a video/image that best represents what you do. We accept MP4, MOVs, Vimeo, but the best way to submit your work is to upload on YouTube (this can be done privately) and email a YouTube link to us, when you submit your work.
Work can be published, unpublished, part of an education/course project or a personal project.
The Fida Awards are online global awards, so you will need to photograph and send images of your work. You do not need to deliver your work to be judged, so you can apply from anywhere in the world.
This award will be judged on the following:
Originality, style, mood, composition and design. The work can be commissioned, published, unpublished or a personal project.

There are 11 award categories this year, seeking excellence in each field.
Winners will receive over £33,000 worth of prizes
Each winner will receive prizes worth over £3,000:
- 5 years of Fida online portfolio Portfolio Membership or 2 years of Project Membership
- Your winning piece featured in The Fible (printed book, showcasing industry leaders and rising talent)
- Selected images in the 10th Awards Virtual Exhibition

Why enter the awards?
The awards are your opportunity to be seen by the industry’s finest, from our panel of talented judges, to the commissioners and agents following the awards closely, searching for new talent.
The FIDA Awards are the perfect launchpad for creatives wanting to jump-start or further progress their career in fashion, illustration, digital and art.
The Fida Awards are online global awards, so you will need to photograph and send images of your work. You do not need to deliver your work to be judged, so can apply from anywhere in the world.
Award winners:
- Receive a portfolio membership (for 5 years!)
- Get promoted in The Fible (the fashion, art, digital and illustration book)
- Have work showcased in an online exhibition
- Have work promoted throughout Fidaworldwide’s social media accounts
- Receive a special winner’s feature about you and your work on our website
The application and notification process for the awards are as follows:
- Once you have purchased an entry into the awards, you will be emailed with instructions explaining how to format and send images. Please provide us with a valid email address when purchasing.
- Your images must be submitted by FRIDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2024, no later than 11:59 PM EST.
- Once Fida receives your images, you will be emailed within 24 hours, to confirm receipt. If you have not had a response within 24 hours please email info@fidaworldwide.com, in case your message has gone into spam.
- In order that all artists can be notified at the same time, both the Longlist and Short List will be announced on the Fida websites: www.fidamembersclub.com and www.fidaworldwide.com.
- Long List Announcement: FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2024
- Short List Announcement: FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2024
- The Long List and Short List will also, at a later date be announced on Fida Worldwide's Instagram account.
- Commendations and Award winners will be announced during a virtual event on FRIDAY 24TH NOVEMBER 2024. Please follow us on Instagram to receive updates - @fidaworldwide.com.
- Winners and commendations will also be added to the website www.fidamembersclub.com in due course, after the live announcement.
- You will NOT be emailed individually with results. If your name is not shown on the website, unfortunately, it means that you have NOT been selected on this occasion.
- Due to the number of entries we receive, and the fact that we secure industry professionals to judge our awards, it is not possible to give individual feedback to each applicant.

The Winners and Commendations announcement will be made during a virtual event, on FRIDAY 22ND NOVEMBER, details will be released on Instagram and www.fidaworldwide.com nearer the time.
Long List, Short List, Commendations and Fida Award Winners will all be announced on www.fidaworldwide.com.

After payment, you will receive an email with further details of the requirements, including instructions for formatting, labelling and sending your images. Please provide us with a valid email address when purchasing.
The ‘Suitable for’ lists are suggestions and are not exhaustive, anyone can apply to an award, as long as the work fits into the category.
By submitting work you agree that you are the creator of the work and own the copyright.
Award entries are non-refundable. If work is not submitted, or submitted after the deadline, it will not be put in for consideration, or refunded.
